Nature UnPlugged Weekend
June 28th-July 1st 2024
How Do You Spend Your Downtime?
Do you spend your weekdays wishing it was the weekend?
Then when you get there, you spend your time off, doing the shopping, washing, cleaning, running the kids around and preparing for the following week?
Too tired to do all the things you had planned or wished you had time to do?
Only to be back at Monday morning before you know it. Once again wishing your time away to the next weekend…
Holidays for people like you are so so important, I get that.
I used to be you…
I worked 60 hours a week in a job I loved, and was good at, but something was missing.
Waking up to an alarm every day, dashing out with the dogs then back to grab a piece of toast as I jumped in my car.
Battling the traffic or sitting in a jam on the A38.
Calling the office in one hand, cramming the last bit of marmalade yumminess into my face with the other so I could put that sticky hand back on the wheel (yuk)… “I’ll clean that off later.”
Despite leaving before dawn, I’m on the back foot at the office and need to catch up … the stress, the pressure to achieve, perform, make things happen.
Jumping back in the car to get home before the dogs burst.
And as you start the car, the realization hits that the sticky steering wheel would probably still be there until I sold the car… it is just not a priority right now.
I would hastily cook something for dinner for us both.
Sit and eat it while checking email with some shit tv playing in the background.
Going to bed, knowing I’d have to do it all again tomorrow…
Until I could take some time off, get away, relax, wind down….
The Vacation Truth
Lying on a beach or by the pool may seem attractive but, if you’re honest, you don’t start to truly relax until day 3.
Then sitting around seems such a waste of your precious few days away from the office.
The pics you post on socials look amazing!
The sun is shining, everyone is smiling, drinks in hand, palm trees in the background the impression you give is of paradise.
The vacation truth is:
You’re too hot, too sweaty;
The kids round the pool are so noisy;
The book you’re trying to read is shit (you knew you should have packed more than one);
You’re spending way too much time on your phone and the food in the three ‘exotic’ restaurants feels very ‘samey’ and you yearn for some simple, home-cooked ‘normal’ food.
You should be exploring this new place.
You should be meeting ‘real’ people, not just Janet from Hull who always seems to be on the adjacent sun lounger.
You should be dipping your toes in the ocean, not sitting by the pool but don’t want to face the beach sellers, because who needs that hassle right?!
All these things you feel like you ‘should’ be doing make what you are doing seem ‘not enough’.
If this sounds like you, then THINGS ARE ABOUT TO CHANGE!
Come join us in the mountains
Ditch the desk.
Drop your phone at the door.
Let go of expectations and connect (really connect) with yourself, with others and with nature.
Our team believe in creating a relaxed environment from the moment you walk through the door.
The fresh air of the Stara Planina mountains will empower you to take on the world.
The breathwork will allow you to let go of your ‘corporate’ shield and go deep within yourself, to find yourself again.
The cold exposure will stop the thinking brain, remove your anxiety, and teach you how to better deal with stress when you return to ‘real’ life.
All food will be locally sourced, fresh and organic and authentically turned into delicious dishes for you to enjoy.
You may come alone but you will leave with more friends than you can shake a stick at. (Note: Janet from Hull isn’t coming) 🙂
Take a look at what we are offering and tell me you can afford to miss out.
There are only 14 spaces available in total and I don’t expect them to be around long.
It is going to be freekin’ awesome!
More information is here – check it out and book today.
What will you take home from this adventure?
